I like that J in Bethel. Wasn't it another truck stop before they took it over? If I am right they have a decent restaurant

Quiet on here the past few days. Where's our Queen?
dennisroc Thanks this. -
I'm here, jaso ....just been feeling a little off of my game lately. I turned down the recruiting job, I just couldn't talk myself into it. The money would have been wonderful but I just didn't feel like I needed to be paid to tell someone about a good job .....and I didn't want to be paid to talk someone into a bad job!
While I was checking out some of the companies there was one in Wisconsin that you may want to check into when you are ready to move. I need to look at it a bit more, but from a quick search it looked like a possibility.
For all of you that have Facebook pages, here is the group about the good independent truck stops. After you join it, if you look at the top of the page under files you will find the list....I try to update it periodically. I know most of you have to get fuel at the chain truck stops but knowing where the independents are can sure help you when you are needing a place to park and something decent to eat in the middle of the night. Surprisingly, many of them also have wifi available. https://www.facebook.com/groups/195415230546469/passport220, gntorres61, jaso37 and 2 others Thank this. -

I'll keep my gold stars all to myself ya party poopers! The correct answer was the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in MacClenny, FL

Ok, granted ... any question that has the answer of a "Wal-Mart distribution center" may not be a party.HometimeQueen, Panhandle flash and jaso37 Thank this. -
One of my best weeks when I returned to TransAm in June was 100% swaps. As you said, no time wasted on pick-ups or deliveries. However, as you also said, most of the time, most of them do suck ... lol.dennisroc and Panhandle flash Thank this.

a lil bored passport?

It is the time of year that they start to build in extra drive time due to winter weather. I am in a similar spot, picked up a 4 stop load that finals in NJ with stops along the way in Pittsburg. Has about 36 more hours in the drive time than I need. Deciding now if I should make it a leisurely drive or hustle it up, bring it to Effingham and make it swap bait.dennisroc and gntorres61 Thank this.

Even if it is not the right one for right now, glad you had the opportunity on that recruiting job Queenie. I think your knowledge, research and sense of fair play would make you one of the best recruiters in the industry. A driver would be lucky to have you as a source of information in making a job choice, if the right opportunity should come up later. Good luck!
Whatever do you mean? How can the word "bored" come up when I just finished a scintillating quiz about Wal-Mart distribution centers in the American Southeast? Working on a quiz about the most architecturally interesting meat plants in the Midwest now.HometimeQueen, dennisroc and gntorres61 Thank this.
