Just very tired. Don't give me any awards yet for rescuing loads. They have to pay me extra for that cause I was happy with my current plan

Happy belated B-Day Dennis, glad all is well for you and your people in the Philippines. My girl and her family live in Bacolod, on the other side of the islands where the storm hit, they are all well. Owen is a cute little guy!
Congrats on your solo status Flying Jay! Just take it slow and easy. Don't hit or run over anything and all the rest will work itself out.
crazy driver 72: As a company driver, we are required to use and follow fuel solutions. That said, we can work around it somewhat. Can not fuel at anyplace not on the fuel solution but I have blown off a fuel stop now and again for time, if I know I have plenty of fuel. Will then get a new fuel solution after I make a delivery and be back on track. No one has ever called me on it.gntorres61, jaso37, dennisroc and 1 other person Thank this. -
31 days and count ... "Olathe, we have a problem"
I am not going to make it to my planed end date that I was counting down to, due to more fights with my DM about swaps. Calling for swaps because someone could not figure out I would get recap hours added to my 70 hour clock after midnight so I would comfortably make OTD on a current load. Clock showed X number of hours that was not enough, DM could not understand after midnight, clock would jump up in available hours due to recap and I could comfortably make it.
My last day with TransAm will be on the 13th. When I am in Olathe to turn in my truck, I will ask one more time about changing DMs so I can ride it out and continue to work with TransAm until January. This current problem of not understanding how a clock works is likely a problem with planning calling for a swap but my DM is no help in understanding issues and solving problems.
I am not holding my breath about changing DM, more likely, I'll turn in my truck and then just take some extra time off and work on the clubhouse before I take my trip in January.HometimeQueen, jaso37, dennisroc and 2 others Thank this. -
Thanks for the b day wishes Passport , hope all goes well on your ending time with TA. Like everyone said you will have no problem getting a driving job.
Keep us posted ! Do you think you might come back to TA ?
If I ever decide to drive I would like to find a company that would give me a few months off in the winter to spend in the Philippines but I am thinking maybe a lot of companies don't do that.passport220 Thanks this. -

That might be the best thing for me , but I am getting pretty cold over here in Korea if I gotta work on the airplane outside. Maybe be better if I was sitting in a warm truck somewhere. Lol
I know you all have to get out too but I don't think you spend much time in the cold. We have 2 hangars and 3 airplanes so sometimes the one outside needs worked on and that sucks haha -
note to self
when you take Dennis for a ride
do it in Jan on I80 in WY
-10 highway shut down 16 inches of snow 40+ mph winds
Loves runs out of roller hot dogs
only person to talk to is jaso in the truck beside you
who has frozen brakes and wants you to help build a fire under the tandems
oh sorry I digress.......you were saying Dennispassport220, SRQGhost, Panhandle flash and 4 others Thank this. -

wulfman75, dennisroc and HometimeQueen Thank this. -
In Korea I would consider this as spring time and would probably be wearing shorts.
And as far as frozen brakes I would just tell Jaso to call triple AAA ( I am wearing shorts and flip flops )
And I plan on taking my own hot dog roller and plenty of hot dogs and buns to eat while I am waiting on Jaso to thaw them brakes and bring me some hot chocolate.
This is how it all works rightSRQGhost and Panhandle flash Thank this. -
Just seen this on the news : Two men arrested for stealing a calendar.
They each got six months.
HometimeQueen and jungHo Thank this.
