I went to CDL school in Iowa with a bunch of farm kids. Because I was so different, older, had a university degree, had been living overseas they started to say that they thought I was really starting a life as a OTR truck driver as part of the witness protection program. Maybe a mob accountant. Talked about it so much, had the one girl in the class believing it could be true!

In a rest area 30 miles east of Jackson MS for the night. Found no place to park in Meridian and violated my 14 in doing so. Maybe I can get an exemption extension for the hour lost in the crash scene near the Bama Georgia line. Tractor looked like it got ripped open by a huge can opener, but couldn't see another vehicle involved. 400 miles to go and this soup load is history. Deuces.
