Trans Am Still

HTQ I am getting home on the day I requested for right now I will take that.

 

Stayed in the Petro in Mebane instead of Walmart in Oxford. Got lots of channels on TV and will get to watch the first half of one o'clock games. Be home late tonight can't wait. Some shopping tomorrow then relax the rest of my time.

Now, now you two! The wives always try to be reasonable. When the King took 10 days off he only had to do 2 things on "The List".......he waited until the last day to do them ......I think you guys miss us so much that you even enjoy the prospect of getting nagged at!

19 hours later and still waiting on this swap...time changed like 3 different times...smh...no more mr. Nice guy now...and the last time to do a swap

 

Oh, I don't agree with that, jaso & cranky! Ask George. When he's home, I know he's tired and needs to catch up on rest. Call me a sap, but I'm just so glad to have him home that I really don't put demands on him. Last time he was home, money was scarce too, from a small paycheck, etc. So, why go places to spend money that we don't have? I know, guys just like to make women appear to be demanding, plan crushers, etc.

Will you be able to get any kind of lost utilization pay on this swap, crazy driver?

One of the things that we have learned with TransAm over the years is that if you are a company driver always request layover/detention pay ....even if the manual says you aren't entitled to it, and if you are a lease driver negotiate extra pay before you accept the swap. jaso and honeybadger would have to confirm that.....but I believe everyone has come to the conclusion that the drivers should not do favors for free. TransAm has a short memory and never appreciates what you did a few days ago to help them out.

 

I almost never do swaps for free. If its free it is to my benefit this is a business and why give away something they are willing to pay for. Always ask the worst that happens is they say no.

My wife always has the list but the last few times not much time home. We will see this time
