Woke up to snow in southwest Missouri also. .....Ugh! .....Coffee! I need more coffee!
The roads aren't too bad at this time but there are some winter weather advisories out.

In OKC for the night. Plans changed no Cali run instead going to il.
HometimeQueen and dennisroc Thank this. -
How are the roads, jaso? We have a nasty mix of rain, sleet and snow here. Interstate 44 isn't too bad as of yet but there will be some slick spots as the temps drop. I saw one slide off today on a secondary road.
Is it a good thing or a bad thing that your plans got changed? -
I was looking forward to going to Cali. but whatever it is the same amount of miles. Went through that storm on my way to Plainview, what fun. Will be going up 44 tomorrow have to get in a lot of miles so I can run right after this load.
dennisroc Thanks this. -
I had no issues coming to Olathe. Yeah it was coming down hard in OKC, but those wrecks must have happened behind me. Weather cleared up nicely by the time I got to Tonkawa. Beautiful skies in Kansas today but a cool 35 degrees. Spending the night on the yard. Wondering if I should wait for my IFTA stickers until Monday. My load that I am waiting for should be here tonight sometime and is due in Lexington NC around midnight on the 30th/wee hours of the 31st. Means I will be home a day early.

It should be clear tomorrow .....I think it is supposed to be high 30's to 40 degrees.

Today is my two year anniversary with TransAm, leasing the whole way. I delivered in Cumming, GA. Spent some time raging about how nobody speaks a lick of English, had a brief moment where I thought I might end up as one of those TransAm drivers posted all over Facebook ((blindsiding off the street, up a hill then down the hill while my tractor went up)), drivecam got a good 12 seconds of my raging about the Mexicans and exactly what I thought about that crappy place when I bumped the dock. And on top of that they charge an extra $200 for a Saturday unload ((that was the day I was scheduled for to start with)). When I questioned the second PO being labeled "late fee" and wanted to be sure I wasn't getting any kind of service failure, Travis said no service failure, they just didn't have a label for weekend price extortion LOL.
I deliver at Quirch in Orlando tomorrow ((yippee...... NOT)) and preplan picks up 1600 Monday. I will call Monday morning to see if Coke will load me early as I've had good luck with Coke lately then will work on a swap or change of delivery time and date as it delivers in Ochelata on the 1st.HometimeQueen, dennisroc and jungHo Thank this. -
Congrats, honeybadger, you have worked hard and done well!......you are also extremely stubborn .....
dennisroc Thanks this. -
Stubborn to the point of stupidity. But hey, I haven't let them run me off yet... and two years with one company at that.... that just opens more doors of opportunity for me.
gntorres61, dennisroc, HometimeQueen and 1 other person Thank this. -
Yeah, wondering if I should stay two years myself. Nah, the fuel solutions or lack thereof will make me crazy before then.
