Bummer, just what this country needs, some more peelots. PFJ has bought out the Mr Fuel chain. Watch them take all the deli's out and put in some more stinking subways!!!

It's the first 2 payments plus the first 700 dollars of fuel they take out in 175.00 increments
-
They didnt state this. -
This must be something new because I never heard of that one either
-
They just started that fuel program. I guess they are running out of new recruits so they need to retain drivers a little longer. When I was just on yard a lot of new drivers asking questions cause their coaches only wanted team miles so all these new drivers did was drive forward. No backing, comp work or trip planning. Sorry training standards.
In Lebo, Ks. for the night. Doing circled from OK to Ks.
Think I will be fighting with them tomorrow. Preplanned to go to NY for the 25th. Problem is I am suppose to be home the 25th. So I might have some real choice words tomorrow.
They told me yesterday my tires would only cost me $80 cause of warranty and manufacturer defect. They charged me today $1,287. Apparently I will be reimbursed when they get the money back, yeah right I've heard that before. That's ok cause the def filter pm is coming up and guess what? I am going to tell them I will do it when that money gets put back into maintenance account. -
travis, you hang in there and stay smart and strong! You have a wife and kids at home that you want to provide for and be able to see. Keep on doing the math.....we have always told everyone that and so very few actually do it. The truth is that all drivers will have good weeks and bad weeks .....all trucks require maintenance and repairs. Because a driver, lease or company, only makes money when the wheels are turning when you have a repair many times it is just a band aid. They will fix what they think the problem might be and send you on down the road. You will lose a day getting the truck repaired then get 500 miles down the road and have the same thing happen again. You may spend every few days in a shop somewhere losing time and miles until someone figures out the cause of the problem. As a company driver, they will put you in a hotel and pay for it, you will get nominal compensation in the form of breakdown pay, and you will not be responsible for paying for any of the repairs.....you will still get a paycheck. That is not the case for a lease driver. The math is ALWAYS in your favor as a company driver. My feeling has always been that when someone is away from their home and family, working hard to provide, working up to 70 hours a week... then the math better be in their favor... anything less than that is unacceptable.
gntorres61 and truckertravis84 Thank this. -
You have a choice if you want to do that program...they have another called...I think freedom something were you pay extra in the truck payment and are able to get home more...I didnt sign up for it cause it's like an extra 70 bucks a week...yeah on the fuel thing I don't know if they just started it cause it wasn't like that the first go around with transam
-
Have you guys spoken to leasing on the conference call with olathe and Rockwall?
-
I lease crazy driver. I do pretty good but they run me hard. This week and next will be my first below 3,200, one cause I sat this weekend to re sign lease and two I am going home Sunday. At the end of this 6 months my odometer had about 82,500 miles on it. But as you know it is not easy to maintain high milage every week. I am not against leasing just against when your new. Too much to learn with those payments on you, a lot of pressure.
HometimeQueen and gntorres61 Thank this. -
Yea we did that the first day but being that their projector was down it was just that... A phone convo! So know one really paid attention... Someone was suppose to talk with us on Wednesday but it never happened and being that we got a late start yesterday because of truck problems and other issues we didn't do any range until 1230 1pm... Only 5 folks got in the truck yesterday and all that got done was 45 degree backing str8 line. No angle backing or road test yet for anyone..
