Waiting for my load in Dodge City. Got here at 1330 yesterday. Drop dead is at 0700. Potential Leasees, keep this in mind, the shippers and receivers don't give a care that you have a truck payment every week. I have had waits of 32-48 hours. Sometimes my fault (when I was late for an appointment) but many others not my fault. Nature of the beast. I was on the Rockwall Yard the other day, and the recruits asked me if I leased, and I said hell no. Let me repeat, HELL NO!! I do not lease. A guy asked me what I averaged per week. Answer 2300 miles per week. They will probably fire me for saying this shiznet, but gotta call it the way I see it. Travis, you may have been the one who asked me. So sorry I didn't get your name if that was you.

Omg. Delivering in Chicago. I hate Chicago. This place is a pain to get into. But I am in the docK with no damage to my equipment or other property. Took a bit of adjusting though! First load with Hirschbach is one if the most challenging places I've ever delivered to. But I get my next load in Belvidere and it will get me near the house after I'm empty. Got a stop in Opelika, AL and it finals in.... Macclenny, FL at the Walmart DC. The same DC I blew up at several months ago with TransAm LOL. Woder if they'll still recognize me? I know they did on subsequent trips with TA.

I hate to admit it, but I think I like this truck. There are features this truck has I like more than my 680, but I have definitely spent most of the night pining for the comfortable familiarity of my 680. I was comfortable enough in that truck that it felt like an extension of me. This truck just doesn't feel right yet. But this is my first time in a ProStar. It's a good truck though. Comfortable to drive. I love the sound of the Cummins under the hood and the way it moves as it takes off. I never realized that disc brakes would have a different feel though! I also have super singles. Yuck. It's a really smooth ride though. And Hirschbach springs for the upgrades interior too so I have the awesome swiveling captain's chair, wraparound curtains, and fun buttons on the steering wheel I wish my 680 had had! I can flash the headlights or clearance lights, set and resume cruise, turn the Jakes on or off and control my radio from the wheel as well as put the truck in manual and shift up and down. And of course the eternally dorky ProStar air horn is a button on the wheel.

I'm amused by what this truck has to offer. We'll see how my dispatcher and I get along. I have a gut feeling I will end up firing her soon enough but am going to give her a chance first.

Hey guys! Quick question...hubby uses transflo but he is on hometime and was unable to locate one on the way here. There's a trippak where he dropped his trailor. Can you guys use trippak also? He has the transflo app on his phone but it has really ###### quality!!
