The busiest night to deliver in either the produce market or the meat market is on Sunday nights at midnight. As the week goes on it slows down. If you think that's a zoo, be thankful you aren't driving around the produce side about midnight, then you'll really have something to talk about.

Believe me when I say this, the market hasn't changed one bit since I was a kid in the 60's going to work with my dad at the produce business or delivering there myself 40 years later. It's still the same mad house.

 

My load is delivered. Now if my company can only find me a load and get the heck out of here!!!

Gov. Dannel Malloy urged state residents to get home earlier, prepare and then wait out the pending blizzard.
“This has the potential of setting a record,” Malloy said in a 10 a.m. press conference.
Malloy has issued a statewide travel ban beginning at 9 p.m. Monday in anticipation of what will be the heaviest part of the storm. All state roads will be closed.
Snow has the potential to fall at a rate of four inches per hour.

Let's just say I'm shaking my head....ran into a ta driver at the ta in limon, CO and let's just say I hope he doesn't get stopped and asked for his log books...treq unit crashed 2 days ago and not keeping paper logs cause he dont know how to do them....

 

Made it home yesterday. Cooking 2 meals right now. 1st my first pulled pork, seems to be going well right now. 2nd is pot roast which is looking good. Only problem started both to late in the day so we will have tacos tonight but plenty of food for the rest of my time at home.
