2pm Storm Update. The main storm in Illinois will track East overnight with snow, sleet freezing rain tomorrow morning along this yellow dotted line and points north. Get up in the Poconos and Southern New England it's a decent 6-10"+ snow event but down in Eastern PA - Central NJ - NYC there will be some moderate snow (4-8") with a decent glaze of sleet to freezing rain tomorrow morning. If you get some snow we'd suggest leaving it so the ice can be on top of the snow instead of your driveway which should make the clean-up tomorrow afternoon a tad easier as opposed to chipping away at a 1/4" to 1/3" of ice. Bitterly cold weather moves in tomorrow night so you'll want to get this mess up before temps start plummeting into the single digits...unless you like a scatting rink for a driveway. frown emoticon Travel safe...Monday am commute will be a mess for millions of us.

Spent the night at the TA in west Knoxville. Pizza Hut, Burger King, Popeyes, and Dunkin Donuts. No wonder I am fat.

 

The above was supposed to be yesterdays post. In Salisbury NC on the eve of my two dropper tomorrow. Then to the house. Glad this trip is almost over. All I need is a couple of days off. Four weeks is too long for me and poor Jungho. Two to three is more like it (to me).

 

Today has been a " it sucks to be me day". Roads in eastern Ohio and western PA have pretty much sucked. Hope it get betters the further east I go. Have a 2 dropper for tomorrow, South Plainfield and Maspeth. Trying to get to 1st rcvr tonight so that I will have full hours tomorrow.

So far, I've seen 1 truck and 7 autos in the ditch. Also saw one auto under the trailer of a semi. Came in from the side.
