The stalled Arctic Cold front lies across the Northern tier of the U.S. from Detroit to Boston. You can see the radar showing light bands of snow setting up north of this front tonight. It will sag a bit further South Monday with heavy snow north of this line especially in Central NY State to Boston where another 12"-18" is likely...again this is mainly a New England event over the next 72 hours - North of I-84 biggest winners with this one.
Further south MAYBE 3" of slushy snow/sleet around NYC but probably not much from Southeast PA to South Central NJ. If you live North of I-80 in Northeast PA/NJ you still look to get some snow out of this complicated mess of a storm but also the risk for sleet and freezing rain which will hold down snow totals in NE PA and Northern NJ (2-4" Monday) so not as big as last weekends storm for you. Still concerned about a prolonged sleet and freezing rain event from NE PA to NW NJ into CT, especially higher elevations.gntorres61 Thanks this. -
