That may not be a good idea. I seem to remember both of you would be driving to support a animal shelter if your wives were in the same area.

travis, we haven't heard from you in a few days. I hope you are doing well ... Let us know how you are! I know your home time starts today...enjoy!
Pete, you be nice to jaso .....he's always sweet to me! You know that you don't fool us ....you have helped many drivers along the way....you're just not nice about it!
Congrats, dear jaso on the new job....may it be a great new beginning for you!
honeybadger, enjoy your home time and the new RV! It will be great family fun with your boys!
George, the King always liked the KW 660. It was a good dependable working truck that gave him very little trouble. He named it Pig ...
...because it would dig down, dig in and root out the miles!
I think the "ghosts" are out-numbering the current drivers on our little thread.
That being said, we have all used TransAm as a beginning point ....and we all have to start somewhere. The King had a conversation with a driver from another starter company not too long ago. As frustrating as TransAm can be.....there are worse starter companies.
The King's company is looking for a couple more experienced drivers right now....if anyone is interested send me a PM.gntorres61 Thanks this. -

In Brooklyn, Ia. for the night. Been quiet on here out of fear for jinxing myself. I am no longer with TA, left Sunday.
On my way to Ca. love running there.
Cranky is a nice guy, just cranky about it.
It will take me a few days to arrange my stuff to where I am comfortable in my new truck.
Next is moving wife to Wi. Had to switch my plan from my original plan, so it is not easy. My wife usually does this stuff, I am so out of my element.
As for my getting a little lost, I was driving my truck from 0000-0630 then 3 hours to get rental car arrived in Green Bay 2330 so I was a little tired. We will find out about my map reading skills over the next few weeks.gntorres61, HometimeQueen and crazy driver 72 Thank this. -
Hopefully the pastures are greener for you after ta
jaso37 Thanks this. -
You're gonna do fine, jaso! Pete may be nice in a cranky way, but he is nobody's fool.....he wouldn't have suggested you for the job if he wasn't sure that you were right for it.
Everything will fall into place with the move when the time is right. ....You know, I have a few stray critters around here ....maybe your wife and Pete's wife might be interested?
jaso37 Thanks this. -
