Trans Am Still

In Boron, Ca. Got real lucky and got a spot in Pilot. Going to swap load with another driver tomorrow that gets me right back to this nice weather.

 

Our local news stations have reported on 24 murders in this area in the last 15 days. Springfield's murder rate has quadrupled since 2000, the crime rate has doubled, assaults have almost tripled and you don't even want to know the statistics on violence against women. Many of the women that I know will no longer even go into Springfield after dark. Living out in the country isn't any different, everyone has at least one experience to share about crime. Everyone owns guns ....and most of them get stolen...so they go and buy more guns. They say it is all about drugs and gang activity.....but most of it is about lack of education and economic opportunity.....and just plain old looking out for number one and having no regard or respect for anyone else.

 

I know where most of you are but just in case anyone is heading across Missouri today .....I 44 is already snow covered between Joplin and Springfield. There have been numerous accidents and there are parts of the highway shut down while they clean up.

In Barstow, Ca. A little chilly here about 63. Pretty rough weather. LOL. Love being in Ca. Should be on home time Friday. Get to prep house for wife.

 

No baseball today. According to the weather channel, there will be some kind of precipitation, in 46 states today. Mine just happens to be more snow. Oh boy !!!!!!!!!!
