Hometime, so sorry about how your daughter was treated. #### skimpy, I wouldn't take that mess on any of my daughters either! It's awful, being her first job and treated so! Hope her boss (I'm assuming now past tense) gets the ultimate treatment (slammer ) for her cruelty to no. 1 daughter.

iwanttodriveallday, I am George's wife and have been following the thread for nearly 2 years now. The others, who have advised you about avoiding being a lease driver, are mark on. We've witnessed, via the thread and perhaps secondhand, drivers who chose lease and threw in the towel within a month or two. Insurance is lousy, bottom of the barrel (preventative, no dental or vision) pretty much.

wulfman, that is awful that you were robbed. They'll get their payback one day!!

 

My friend that went into hospice care last week died today. It has been a very long day of reflection and conversation, much of it good with many sweet memories.

 

Sorry to hear Queenie. Prayers to you and your friend's family. Doubly sorry to hear about your daughter's treatment at her job. That person should be jailed and fined and thrown out of business. I could never treat anyone like that. What's wrong with these people?

A 20 foot wide non-hazardous reactor head made in St. Louis and going to a California oil refinery is traveling through the Ozarks today, and will back up traffic. Here's it's route... near Waynesville now.

I-44 EAST is blocked near MM 286. Traffic in the area is being diverted onto Hampton Avenue.
Hampton is a commercial thoroughfare with several stoplights and multiple commercial driveways.If possible, divert to I-270 North and take I-64 East through St. Louis for the time being.

There is a video online, from another driver's dashcam, showing a driver go up to another truck, pull on the door handle, stand on the step and look inside the cab of the truck. When he didn't get into the truck he pulled the pin on the guy's trailer. It wasn't in Dallas but was in New Braunfels, Texas. They posted the video hoping someone would recognize the truck and the company....the video didn't get a clear shot of the company name on the truck. I don't know why, but the theft of your property immediately popped into my mind. Do you want a link to the video or have you already seen it?
