As Pete said, Iwant2driveallday, the main thing is to take that next step. Make your choice for a starter company and get out there and learn. With a little experience, you will be better able to choose what works for you and what does not.

In City of Industry for delivery tomorrow night. My dog is getting more comfortable. So nice here. Nice to be in shorts.

Driveallday what ever company you choose just don't lease. Learn on the companies dime, not yours. Some companies make the lease sound so easy but it isn't. Good luck

Check out Prime Iwant2driveallday. From reading your posts, you have a clean record. Prime pays and trains new drivers much better. I would have went with Prime myself out of CDL school but I had no driver's license for many years before I started trucking.

I have been checking them out as a backup if my first place (that requires experience) falls through. Like any company, they are not all roses, but they look even better now then they did a couple of years ago. IMHO

If you do want to check out Prime, I can put you in touch with one of their drivers. He would be happy to answer questions for you.

In Kalamazoo at a small BP.truck stop. Left LaSalle IL Flying J at 0330 and got here around 0830. I did try to get unloaded a day early, but that was a no go. Tomorrow is my getaway day then onto Harmony PA for my final on Tuesday morning. Enjoyed chilling on Easter Sunday, though wish I coulda been home.

Delivery done. Waiting to get a load tomorrow. Buddy my dog is starting to adjust well to the trucking life. We just have to figure out the sleeping arrangement he may be a little guy but he takes up a lot of room.
