Daimler Trucks North America has issued a recall for more than 2,000 Freightliner and Western Star trucks.
Affected Freightliners include 2015 year model Cascadia, Coronado, Business Class M2, SD108 and 122SD vehicles. Affected Western Star models include 2015 4700 and 4900.
DTNA says up to 2,386 vehicles are affected. The company says the recalled vehicles were manufactured between Oct. 6 and Feb. 16. and include Haldex Life Seal Brake Chambers.
Improperly seated diaphragms within the brake chamber can cause brake drag and subsequent loss of vehicle control, Daimler says.Owners of vehicles under the recall will be notified by Daimler, and dealers can replace the brake chambers free of charge. The recall is expected to begin May 25.passport220 Thanks this. -
Wow! Getting older sure does stink! I mowed the yard yoday, mostly with a riding mower. Doing the trim with a push mowe plus the heat and bring my first time mowing this year has tuckered me out. Parts of me are sore too. Sheesh! You wouldn't think it would be so tough, huh? And we don't have a back forty....thank God! I've gotta suck it up!

Hey, it's Friday night. Did everyone go out partying? HTQ hasn't even shared any jokes! It's up to you, panhandle, to stir things up.

Dropped my paint load at Lowes Cheyenne WY. Picked up a trailer and headed over to the Flying J, but no room at the inn. 11pm MT but had to fuel there anyway. Scooted down I 25 to a rest area in Fort Collins. I have Anheuser Busch pickup on Sunday 0800. Another day sitting. No wonder I cant get 3000 miles. Does the APU not heat in these higher elevations. Am about to idle the engine for some heat. Geezus!

^Days Inn Fort Collins
3625 East Mulberry/I-25
Ft Collins, CO 80524
Is off a extra wide side street with truck parking, room on the next side street over as well. I have parked there before. However, I usually drop my trailer at A.B. before I do anything, then easy to park most places bobtail.
Your already in Ft. Collins but Sapp. Bros. Cheyenne has a hotel on-site.gntorres61, HometimeQueen and jungHo Thank this. -
Yep got a room at the Days Inn Mulberry Street, passport. Hopefully AB will let me drop, but I gotta get a washout first.

^If it is not too bad, they will let you sweep out there. Send you back by a dumpster, have a broom and shovel at the dumpster they will let you use. They did that to me once.
