It's amazing how much money you can make at the end of the year, just by slowing down. If she drives like that most of the time, probably an extra 15k or so.

KUSA Multiple agencies are looking into whether two separate incidents involving shattered windows in operating cars are connected to an Interstate 25 shooting Wednesday night.
All three incidents occurred in northern Colorado in the last 24 hours. The only confirmed shooting and injury was a 20-year-old female driver who was struck in the neck.
The first incident occurred in Loveland around 9:50 p.m. Wednesday. Police say a 21-year-old Greeley man was driving east on East Eisenhower Boulevard approaching North Cleveland Avenue when he heard a "pop." He then noticed his rear window was shattered. Police are not sure if a gun was involved.
About an hour later later, a 20-year-old Milliken woman was shot while driving on I-25 between East Harmony Road and Highway 392 in Larimer County. She was able to stop her car and call 911. She was struck in the neck by a bullet and taken to a hospital to undergo surgery. There's no word on her condition.

The third possible shooting occurred just after noon Thursday on Weld County Road 49 in the area of Interstate 76 in Weld County. A 46-year-old Johnstown man was traveling south between Weld County Road 24 and Weld County Road 26 when the front driver's side window of the vehicle shattered. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
Weld and Larimer county authorities said there currently is no evidence linking the three incidents. The I-25 incident was a confirmed shooting. The other two are still being investigated as possible shootings. Investigators are working closely with multiple agencies to try figure out if three cases are related.
Thursday evening, an abandoned truck on the side of I-25 near Berthoud was towed after it was found with its rear window shattered. Troopers were concerned the truck may be linked to the other incidents. As the vehicle was being towed, the owner showed up on the scene and told troopers that a lug nut caused the damage. The vehicle was still hauled away.
They are asking anyone with information, video or photos to contact the Weld County Sheriff's Office or the Loveland Police Department at 970-962-2032.

Pete, how long did you live at the Outer Banks? It is awesome, no doubt....so scenic and tranquil! We live 1 1/2 hours away but don't make it here very often. This is a real treat for us.
