Trans Am Still

What is wrong with George's truck, jungHo? When do they expect to have it fixed? I will surely remember you all in my prayers.

I bought a car today ....on the King's birthday .....I felt kind of bad doing it .....just a little. Over a month ago I had bought him the new Rand McNally Tablet and GPS for his birthday ....and right now it is sitting in the box.

 

Who did anything wrong? Other than maybe I should have bought the car yesterday....or tomorrow.

 

Well .....and maybe the kind of car that I bought ......not very practical for country life.

 

No, neither one of the dogs will fit .....I might have to buy a horse trailer for them!

 

Our queen is in the midst of a midlife crisis!!!!! Get her to tell you what she actually bought!!!!

 

I had a couple of really nice things happen recently. Do any of you remember slot cars? Years ago I owned a slot car raceway and arcade. I got to know many of the local kids.....some of them had extremely tough lives. I loved all of "my kids". Over the years they grew up and some of them I lost touch with. A few weeks ago I was in Springfield shopping and I looked up and there was one of my kids! She burst into tears....me too ...she told me how important my place was to her and what a difference it had made in her life. She is a nurse, a wife, and a mom. It was so good to know how well she has done and how happy she is!

Today at the Post Office I ran into another one of my kids. I have kept in touch with him over the years. He is a local tv anchor on the news. He recently produced a historical documentary. He had invited us to the premier a few weeks ago, he knows I love history, and we weren't able to make it. Today when we ran into him he said that he was sending me a copy .....because I am in the credits for this film. I asked him what I had done! He told me that I had been there for him and inspired his interest in local history when he was a kid!

You have one proud "Mom" here! What a blessing it was to know how well these kids have done .....and to know that sometimes just being there and listening can make such a difference to someone. The truth is they always had the potential .....and what they have accomplished they did through their own hard work. All I did was love them.

 

I ain't tellin'!

I'm thinkin' about getting custom plates for it too!
