He doesn't have any trouble falling asleep when he gets home, that's for sure! :)

Enjoy your night at home, jaso. Wish we lived closer to the freight lanes, so George would have had that opportunity occasionally. At least he'll be home weekly with CT. I'm sure your wife is enjoying you being home more often, pets probably are too.

Jolly good. We might consider doing so also, but, being my mom's caregiver places limitations on us. Of course, if that were not an issue, I'd probably go out on the truck with him. I do think it's great you and jaso did that, so your wives can see you more often. Kudos to you both!

Hi all, finished my first month with the new company. Things are going mostly well. I like my truck and the people at my company.

Have had some times where I get 500-600 miles to run over a 3 day period, or run like my hair is on fire, 2100-2200 over the another 3 day period. Sometimes due to lack of backhaul freight, sometimes due to my inexperience with the company and what I should expect. I have not counted it all up, but I think I will have near 13,000 miles for the month.

Congrats on the new jobs to both the King and George!

Wow took a little vacation and expected more post and Congrats to George and the King on the new jobs.

I've learned how to work tired period as my day starts around 0630 and ends somewhere around 11 to midnight. Which is why I have been looking into trucking as I would prob work less.

    gntorres61 and HometimeQueen Thank this.

You know the Ron White line "I had the right to remain silent, but not the ability"? I understand that so much better now after last night. Knew there was a reason I stayed out of bars!! Lol

    Something to consider -
This is from another driver's company .....a list of what they consider high-risk truck stops.
