Not surprised by the Fort Myers Pilot is on that list as its in a bad area. Only problem for some companies is it has the only Boss shop south of Tampa. The Loves up the road is a much better area.

I would think the list is based on that particular company's freight lanes. There were several that I would have added to the list based on driver safety. Of course, you also have to remember that the company list mainly concerns loss of freight ......a lack of driver safety would just be collateral damage to them and not their main concern.

some of those shouldn't be on it from my experience
the Ontario TA's have been cleaned up

Agree with CY on this. Never had a problem at the TA's in Ontario CA. Surprised the Pilot in Newburgh NY made it too. Stayed there a couple of times with no issues.

.It is another company's list of places that their drivers are no longer allowed to stop at because of loss of freight based on their data. The primary concern here is financial loss, driver safety and lot lizards are of secondary or no concern to a corporation. I only posted it here because driver safety is a concern of mine and in many cases that goes hand in hand with a loss of freight. That being said, those same truck stops, for the most part, are on a list for criminal activity against drivers....including Gary and West Memphis.

It is easier to replace a driver than freight is how a lot of companies think.
