Yeah, I try to avoid ticks as well, I was a lucky one with them as I had picked up 7 of those nasty buggers at one time while training in NJ, thankfully no illnesses from them.

You are right, ghost and HTQ, it is weird how many people rarely ever post on the thread anymore. It's hard to think the change of format is the cause. Maybe the lack of challenge, with no one being employed with TransAm anymore being on here, is the reason. HTQ, you mentioned a while back the idea of starting a thread for us to stay in touch. Maybe it's time. Several of us are on Facebook, but many choose otherwise.

So sorry about the King being tick - bitten and infected. I can imagine how concerned you've been. Glad to hear he's doing better now and hope he feels much, much better real soon.

Got my truck today and my load, taking my 10 then headed out to Jamesburg NJ after midnight. Load is not due until midnite tomorrow nite and is a drop and hook from the yard. Almost 600 miles. I will take it. They have cars here for the drivers to use. Four 2014 Chevy Volts to run errands while we are on the yard. This company thought of darn near everything! Maybe I can talk them into an indoor pool for the drivers and employees. Had a prime rib dinner at the Boxcar Grille down the street from the terminal. Life is good. Deuces!
