The TransAm KWs where nice but they can not compare to my current International. In most all ways, I like my current truck better. It is mostly due to the low mileage on my ProStar. The trucks I was assigned at TransAm, as a company driver, had 8 to 17 times more miles on them.

I do miss the auto transmissions and having a double bunk for storage in the TA trucks. I have the big inverter, good APU, air-assist stuff in my current truck, so it is on par with the TA set-up. However, I did have to provide my own fridge.

I thought the KW 660 did a good job on the hills, T700 was a dog! T700 was a dog on the hills and anytime starting from a dead stop.

My current International also can not handle the hills fully loaded. The extra 10K in a load can make me want to set the cruse control and get out and push, on even a mild hill, when I have 40K plus in this truck.

Yeah, my first two loads have been light, 10000 and 7500 lbs so not really been tested yet. I am averaging 8.8-8.9 mpg. Just phenomenal. Didnt come close to 7 in the Kenworths.

Just be forwarned George, We are getting into our rainy season here and it is deffinatly reminding us of it. Not as bad as what has been happening in the Mid west of further up north, but bad enough with Florida drivers.
