Seems to be an across the board thing. I work for a different company but we do backhauls to many malwart DC's to get us in range of one of our DC's for a next load out. my previous company as well did many semi-dedicated runs. You could set your watch by 2hrs on the nose if it was live. Every location every time.

Now it's 3 1/2 to 5hrs. Seems to have started this since the first of this year. I dread getting them now. Not like I liked them any better at 2hrs lol but I much prefer the d/h loads.

When I worked at PAM all wal mart loads were d/h for us dry vans. Loved 'em. ;) No waiting around, no having to get a comcheck to pay them to unload you two hours later...

They have always sucked. A guaranteed 3-5 hour wait. Haven't done one here with Cargo, but did have a 4 hour wait at a Target DC in Newton NC this week. Worst thing was I couldn't stay in my truck unless I unhooked and left the property and I Couldn't do that because had to take my two hour split break so I had to sit in their lounge for four hours. Stunk.

At the house for a 34-48 and then back out for a 9-10 day trip. Wanna get by the country club/shop and get satellite TV installed on the truck. Football is coming.

If push comes to shove, hire on for the winter, with one of those companies that push snow.
