TransAm should be avoided like the plague. Unless you are out of driving school. Do 6 months or year then run away.
I turn my truck in tonight in Olathe. Been at Transcam for few years. They get worse and worse. I Quit on Aug 18, gave 2 week notice. My DM put in for me to be in Olathe on the 1st of September. Looks like I will get there tonight.
I am a Company driver. I average 2000 to 2500 miles on full week. After Hometime week of 4 days, I get maybe 1200 to 1500 miles that week.

Jayrag, thats the tradeoff for going home. I still get the same miles and get home most every weekend. I am making 10cpm more with my new company. Where do you live? Maybe one of us can point you in the right direction. Best of luck. I did my year at TA. They are what they are. A good stepping stone to something better. I enjoyed my time there but made the best of it too.

I'm really enjoying being on vacation and seeing things I normally wouldn't see. That dang " cheap" gene of mine sure is wincing a lot tho!!!!!!
