Ya! Me too!!! Kind of nice for a change, huh?

 

Doing better today, scott, thank you for asking. It has been a rough couple of weeks. I'll be honest, I didn't care for my mother-in-law.....she was a cruel person in life and in death also. I am ashamed to say I didn't handle the situation with as much grace as I would have hoped for. ....I do have a Dutch temper, it is inherited, I come by it naturally. The morning of MIL's funeral, I received a phone call to let me know that a friend had died. I hadn't even put the phone down when it rang again. It was another dear friend calling to let me know that she was moving back to her home town. Her husband is ill and they feel they need to move closer to family. I had meetings yesterday and it was just too much. After the last meeting I just sat in my car and boo- hooed. I guess that is what I needed........ Cuz, now I am feeling more like my sassy royal self!

I know ....too much information .....but oh well .....I am the Queen.

 

Holy schnikes one a them days huh? I hear ya. I'm so glad I'm not a woman id be havin a lot of boo hoo moments but bein that I'm a card carrying dude I just grimace shake my head bury the emotions and carry on like a boss.

It's been about a year and half since my dad passed and it took me a year to get right with it. then again sometimes it still feels like yesterday.

doing ok for the most part. just at the point in life where a change is needed and I have to give myself a swift kick in the ### to make it.

Thirteen more days and I will be free from all of this city stuff....Whoooohooo! I am walking a fine line ....trying to do the job right ....but not so well that they want me to continue! .....I know....sneaky .... It's one of those dumb blonde things.

It won't be long until it is time to drag out the map and the map pins for the Queen's Weather Reports.

 

Finished a 2800 mile week. Fake Christmas Trees from Rocky Mount NC to Southpoint OH, over to Logan OH for hiking boots, down to Gaffney SC, over to Gastonia NC for autoparts (airfilters) to Baltimore, Hartford area, Boston area (Billerica) over to Leominster for household stuff down to Carlstadt NJ more bedsheets down to Henderson NC. Extra stop pay, layover, and two hours detention augment paycheck. Now time to pack scuba gear and chainsaws to get out of NC. Deuces.
