Oh no is my camera on
-
I have spent more than 20 years working with Access Control equipment hardware and software. Cameras are a huge part of that industry. I have run the US operations for an Equipment manufacturer and owned the US distributorship of these products. We sold serviced installed and monitored remotely projects with thousands of cameras for the US government Gaming Industry etc etc.. so I know better than most the fairness unfairness operation abuse manipulation etc etc.. Like I have said if you have no problem with them great it is your choice. Just like it is my choice to have a problem with them.. Yes all the Mega carriers will probably have them and yes if ya do not like them do not work for them Which I would not work for a Mega carrier with or without cameras.. But again thats my choice.. I do know exactly how these cameras work I know exactly why companies use them I know exactly why companies abuse them and I know for a certainty that not 1 of these cameras facing a driver was installed to benefit the driver. They are to benefit the carrier or company who is having them installed.Chinatown Thanks this.

dennisroc Thanks this. -
If there is any more crap about cameras on here, I WILL ask the moderators to lock this thread down, since it will have ceased to serve any useful function.

It takes a while for it to sink in for many public school grads. Communist countries don't even have cameras in trucks.123456 Thanks this.

Wow someone woke up on the wrong side of the truck ,
How about we talk about something else ??? Any ideas ???
Here is something the wife and I have wondered about being OTR .
We are thinking if you are out for a few weeks you can do laundry when you go home , but say you are out for a longer time how is it trying to get your laundry done at a truck stop ?
Do they have a lot of Washers and Dryers ?
Can you maybe eat dinner while they are Washing /drying or do you need to stay with your clothes so no one steals them ? -
Usually, the Pilots and Flying J's have 4-6 washers and dryers (each). The Petros and TA's a few more. I wouldn't leave my clothes alone at a truck stop in Gary IN, West Memphis AR, East St.Louis IL, Atlanta, or Birmingham (where TransAm likes to do swaps), but anywhere else I would think you'd be ok.

Thinking of going back to transam....we shall see
-
I always stayed with mine but that was by choice
