3 days orientation. Off the weekend then 4 days on yard training(this is where they will push the lease very hard). Then 7-11 days out with a trainer. Then 2-3 days on yard to final out paperwork. Should read through the thread cause a lot of details in it. Do not lease no matter how good it may look or easy. Good luck

I'm trying to find a good overall weather map that I can post here for you guys ......it's not happening. We have 3 more storm systems between now and Christmas.

The first of 4 storms between now and Christmas. Strong storm #1 is bringing record warm weather ahead of it for the Eastern half of the country with some wintry precipitation on the back side in Kansas. Yes California is getting rain and snow (storm #2) and just the start of a very stormy pattern. The Northeast will see temperatures return to normal next weekend (30 degrees colder than this past record warm weekend) but then another huge warm surge ahead of the Christmas Eve storm system in the East - all rain for the big cities in the East as it appears now so a soggy green Christmas from DC to Boston, snow possible well inland in the higher terrain of the Appalachians.

Have you all seen this? These people have a real ignorance and hatred of truck drivers.

Personally I support this site. We all should. Let's do everything in our power to make sure under no circumstances should one more class A commercial type vehicle enter will county. Let them lie in the bed they propose to make. No more grocery stores. No more gas stations. No more construction. No more hot tubs for their whiney little butts. No more no more no more let them drive an hour away for anything they need to survive.

    Yeah, that'd be sweet.

That is only one of several names and sites that they have targeting big trucks. They blame the truckers for all of the accidents .....even if it was the 4 wheeler's fault.....because after all if the truck hadn't been there in the first place.....
Law Enforcement has jumped on the band wagon to blame trucks also. They are petitioning the state government to crack down on commercial vehicles. There is a good chance that they will succeed. Unfortunately, Will county is part of a major freight lane......Joliet, I-80.... So, heads up .....they have put a very large bullseye on your truck in this area.

Here is a quick update on the current road closures in South-Central Wyoming.

We are planning to open 287 south of Laramie sometime this morning, as weather allows.

Regarding I-80 between Laramie and Cheyenne, maintenance crews are working on a couple of the larger drifts with the rotary plow. Once they are finished with that, hopefully we can open east bound from Laramie, where current wind speeds are 42 mph.

As for I-80 between Laramie and Rawlins, current wind speeds of 48 mph in the Arlington/ Elk Mountain area are creating dangerous visibility and drifting issues. At the present time, this road section is to remain closed with no anticipated opening time.

Most road surfaces are very slick with blowing/drifting snow.

-Attached is a photo of I-80 West conditions taken this morning.
