Trans Am Still

In Barstow tonight. Really hot here. LOL. Never happy.

 

Could be worse, Jaso. Headed to frigid East Syracuse NY. Low tonite 14. Another good week last week. 2700 miles. Back to back 2700's. I will take it. At Cargo, they are instituting a performance bonus quarterly of 2 cpm for hitting 30,500 miles. Average of 2346/week. If it had started in January, I would have missed it due largely to my putrid January, 4 breakdowns plus a 10 day vacation, the last two, helping my youngest stepdaughter get a new ride. Finished with about 29k. I can do this, I think. Looking forward to the challenge.

 

Really digging this 13 speed in my new truck.

 

Flash is living his dream of being a truck driver in a 13 speed rig. I am still dreaming of being a "steering wheel holder", I want an automatic!

Guess so, where did @Cranky Yankee go to? He's been gone for a bit.

 

Short week this week. Left out Tuesday morning. Four days, 1800 miles after two weeks of 2800 each. Went from Rocky Mount to Syracuse, to Buffalo, to Hickory NC, to the yard in Claremont NC (needed new onboard scanner and GPS map updates), to Charlotte, to Wilson NC to Wilson NC and to the house on Friday night. Back out tomorrow morning (Monday). And where is our beloved queen? No doubt busy with her new Mastiff! Such a tiny lady with huge dogs! Smart.

 

Sitting at the 7/11 in Olathe, Ks. deliver tomorrow. Being here brings back memories. I hope some of you start responding soon.

 

For old time sake...go ahead and get 50 gallons

 

Yeah, I miss the Olathe office. People there were great. I am not nearly as close with the office people at Cargo like I was at TransAm or even Abilene.
