Don't think the Queen checks on here anymore, especially since her hubby rolled a tanker.

I come on here occasionally but, this thread died.

Why are you coming back out?

 

It was a while ago with Cranky, don't know much other than it was mentioned.

 

I was thinking about getting into trucking but seems like everyone was unhappy with what ever company they were with and very hard to make a good living when you are waiting and sitting all the time.
I am 63 and still think about coming back to the states and get a driving job just because I think it would be fun for the wife and I to travel the states and would not have to have a great paying job but at least enough to enjoy it and not feel like I was getting screwed.
Time will tell , early retirement is looking good also

Check out Danny Herman Trucking. They run lots of southern warm climate freight lanes and no northeast or New York City. Wife can ride along and trucks have all the driver comfort amenities.
On a regular basis you'll see the Texas border towns and Southern California. They hire new grads that are 85 GPA or higher in their graduating class. That's where I'd go if I wanted to pull dry van.
