Is getting hit on private property a preventable accident if your company doesn't report it to DAC.
If there is no tow or injurys does the police report it , seems like a gray area.
Trans Am.....WHY!!

Jan 24th to March 10th. That's a looong time for a truck to be down due to some jack wad that didn't look in his mirror.
062 and Socal Xpress Thank this. -
What kind of down time rate were you able to negotiate with trans am?
Socal Xpress Thanks this. -
Lawyer is working on that as we speak.062 and spyder7723 Thank this. -
The shop should have put the same headlights back in. It they didn't catch the upgrade they should eat that.

I think you're confusing two different things.
Preventable is whatever your company says it is. Recordable is defined by the FMCSA and means there was either a death, and injury, or a tow.
Your future transportation industry employers will be required to contact your previous employers and get a safety report, which will include any accidents you had, preventable or not. Your employer may use DAC for that or they may respond some other way. -
Trans Am supposedly cut the Check on Fed 20th and didnt show up to the shop til March 2nd. The delay is on Trans Am and the shop wanted to get the truck to me faster but wanted money in hand.Farmerbob1, Big_D409 and 062 Thank this.
