-New clutch and rebuild transmission, new engine mounts, new driveshaft slip-yokes and u-joints, new hanger bearing, rebuilt power divider, rear differential rebuild, all bushing on rear suspension is been replaced, new front shackle bushings and leaf spring, new throttle padel, new cab mounts and shocks. Spent at least 15k trying to fix this problem. Only thing is left is centre differential. It feels like their is a play somewhere in the driveline. Any clue? -
No clue. If you cannot stand it, sell it and get another truck.
Or keep throwing money at it. You are well on your way to a newer truck.
Ive had trucks with very high mileage in the past, the transmission is literally a sound of a rotating dryer with two buckets of bolts, washers and rusted metal inside of them. -
Did you ever figure out what it was?? Im having same thing happen with my super 10.
-
I had the same problem with my super 10 clutch hub on one disk was tore out.

I have clunk in the tranny or maybe not i have not clue where is coming from, but i had it for 3-4 years at least, I tried to find what is causing that clunk on accelerating and decelerating but nothing. Replaced carrier bearing nothing changed clunk is still there. Maybe is the engine mounts idk but truck is running ok i got used to the clunk so now when i acc or decel i go slow on the pedal.
