I really wish someone with some power would investigate the shady way Transam does business. I was a victim of
their lease program. I wont bother with specifics because it has all been said before and it's all true. I drove my butt
off. Drove plenty of miles and never received a positive settlement. Everyone that has anything good to say about
them is either part of the scam or liars (or both). Just wish they would get their just dues. Sorry everyone just have to
vent whenever I can. Thanks for listening.

    Kevin horn Thanks this.

Sorry about your bad fortune. There is lots of information out there about these truck lease scams.

How well did your research your decision before you jumped in?

Like anything else, it is buyer beware.

you must have been with them since the old days, i did fail to mention that they do take care of their old
timers which I guess is redeeming in some way. They just screw the newbies.

Did not research nearly enough, plus they are on of the few companies that will hire new drivers. Then they give you the ole shaft.

no new driver should lease ever never
dreams of sugar plums dance in their brains
I have been with transam 18 months
new drivers have to learn how to do their job and manage their hours
learning how to manage a business too is too much to ask on anyone

you don't say why you had negative checks when you proclaim to run plenty of miles
    deductions for accidents?
    too much home time?
    lousy dispatcher?
    Transam just hated you?

    kirk Thanks this.

Sure there are a few drivers that a lease company elevates to poster advertising.....so they can say "Look Here, This Driver Is Banking". But lets be real folks, the majority of the well intentioned leases do not work out. This is no news flash...but reality.

I am not getting rich at leasing wouldn't do it again
but have you ever heard one driver say he had anything to do with it's failure
anything I failed at in my 60 years I was a part of that failure

I admit I probably did make a few mistakes to contribute to my demise, but that would only be fuel consumption. Never had any accidents, and never, ever went home. The one time I did get to go home I had to dead head from atlanta, GA on my dime. They just misrepresented the whole thing from the beginning. I own my mistakes but working for them for just over 90 days i made 48,000 and only brought home 910. The only reason for that is I drove through Christmas and received a 1000 bonus. I would suggest anyone that even thinks about Trans Scam should be a company driver, if they dont bully you into going lease. They are brutal about pointing out how bad they will screw you if you go company, things like telling you that you will be last on the list for any home time, never get a good load, and you will get their crappiest equipment. I'm not a truck stop or home guy, I ran 7 days a week and kept the left door closed. Still got screwed. My dispatcher was OK i guess, but the way they float their payroll it's hard to make money. Let me ask, did they ever come through with the new pay plan that would pay for every mile driven until Thursday? or is it still only emptied by Thursday?
