    Thats why i think its time for me to move on away from them,then not being unable to make ends meet also deal with our GREAT UNCLE SAM,I'm sure i am on his most wanted list by now!

    Say you get to walmart ,that will only take you in at due date & time,then what?
    Then what probably another 5 day 1500mile run,giving you 1500miles for that week!

    Rubbish!!!!!!...The few weeks i ran 3000miles,i made $1100+ those weeks! Less miles =less $$$,doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out!

    Wow, if I ran 3000 miles and even after fuel and charges only made $1100, I would have to consider going elsewhere. On a typical 2800 mile week, I usually take home $1700 to $2000. In the right setup, it isn't always about miles. If the rate flexibility is there, then one can actually do better on shorter runs that don't rack up so many miles in a week if the rates one gets on shorter hauls is better. And considering you don't use so much fuel, the net comes out better. And what of detention, drop pays, etc? If one is getting good money from those, then sometimes a shorter haul with multiple drops wins out over a long haul. It is called working smarter, not harder.
