I drove over 35000 miles, got paid $652.26, and I owe them $9200. And now they've blacklisted me. Can't get a job. Does anyone have any advice what my next move should be? ADVICE: IF YOU GO TO TA, DO NOT LEASE. BE A COMPANY DRIVER.

Give Knight a call. They seem to love hiring people that wash out at the other training companies. You'll have to go with a trainer again.bigblue19 Thanks this.

Thats funny because just this am I saw a Knight driver at Ernies in Kent Wa who had his yellow safety vest from CRST on.Shaggy Thanks this.

Get a tiny car and run Pizzas. At least you get tips while making minimum wage.
Shaggy, Cman301 and Toomanybikes Thank this. -
How is this possible?

Another newbie sucked into the fleece without a clue of how the industry works. It should be against the law for a
student driver to start out on a lease in a industry with 100 percent turnover every year.
Crooks, liars, con men, shady brokers that won't pay, lowlife bottom feeder companies cutting the rates, gouging lumpers,
backstabbing dispatchers,DOT riding your ###, hidden charges in lease contracts, not enough parking,4 dollars a gallon diesel,
100 bucks an hour at the shop,500 dollar tires,double broker loads,phantom loads,blind loads,overweight loads,ect,ect,ect.
You get the point.
It takes some length of time behind the wheel at least a year to learn how to wade thru all this crap that we
have to deal with everyday, just to get the load from point A to point B. You can't even come close to learning
all this in a 3 day orientation.
If you would have Google searched tranAm lease reviews you would have read the horror stories and just
became a company driver. Not trying to be an ####### but we can't understand how these lease drivers come to
this forum after they been screwed by (name company here) when there's multiple threads about how
(said) company ripped of many before you.Last edited by a moderator: Apr 19, 2014
Adrienna Brown, Panhandle flash, Cranky Yankee and 2 others Thank this. -
they pay on a sliding scale, the more miles you run the less pay you get. its an incentive to get people to run shorter loads since they'll make a few extra cents per mileAdrienna Brown Thanks this. -
Sliding pay scale?is that like you run a 100 miles at 50cpm but run 1000 at 30 cpm? Aaaawww maaan that suckz...what did they put on your dacAdrienna Brown Thanks this.
-
