Does TransAm hire Florida drivers? I live right off of I-4, about 30 miles east of Tampa, and just sent in my application. I have plenty of experience and have a clean driving record, just wondering if they will hire me because for whatever reason the icon for the hiring area map on their website won't load when you click on it.

Wow, Can't believe that TA is actually getting T 700's for L/O. Almost makes me want to do the lease for the extra room......... NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just found out from another one of our L/Os, that even tho TA is advertising T700's, they won't be in till next year. Hmmmm, couldn't that be considered false advertising, kind of like their "guaranteed" HT?
For the 2 yrs that I've been here, the policy has always been, experience means L/O. -
Yep, I was on the FAC as a company driver for 2006 and most 2007. it was good miles -
Well it's been a couple weeks (months?) since I last posted here. My opinion has changed a bit about TransAm over the past month or so. I guess I pissed someone off, or hit some point in my career with them because for some reason I've gone from 3200 a week to 1300 miles a week. Hell this week I'll be under 1000. I need alot more then $200 a week to stay out here. I'm not sure what could have changed, zero write-ups or counseling and I have a 100% on time still. Oh well.
Anyone else have this issue and know how to resolve it? As it stands I'm looking for a local job so I can see my family more then one weekend a month.
