That sounds lot like a layoff. if you got even one dime from them I'd think you might be able to get unemployment from them.steelredfish and Panhandle flash Thank this.

Mekanic who would I have to talk to about getting unemployment? Cause I was sent home without pay because they did not have a company truck for me. Also according to them if you decide to quit with-in 90 days you owe them for all the expenses.( Hotel, food, and transportation, ex.)

Contact your states unemployment bureau, they can tell you how to claim against an out of state company. I think it would be downright hilarious if you could pull it off, TA would certainly be throwing a fit. If you ask TA they will just tell you no.
As far as that 90 day deal I'd tell them to sue me and that OOIDA is interested in representing me (bluff), you fulfilled your obligation, they didn't.steelredfish Thanks this. -
That is exactly what i would do. If you even remotly succusful call ALL your co workers that got sent home and tell them what to do.
I think the main thing is When a employer pays and employee that is NOT a contracted labor employee that take out all the usuall forms of taxes and the employer pays the state unemployment taxes as well.steelredfish Thanks this. -
Thanks for all the information I will be paying a visit to the unemployment office this week.
