Belly dump can unload dang near any place, terrain doesn't matter. Fast too.

Belly dumps and side dumps are the norm around here. Few dump trucks with non steerable pups.

I hauled for the county a few years hauling road gravel. With the Belly dump you just set your gates to open about a foot drive about 30 and let it fly right on the road. Or if making a stock pile just back up the pile as far as possible open gates and drive away.

    AModelCat and Ruthless Thank this.

I always thought califorina ran setups like this due to the length restrictions on non-staa routes? 601650BB-8ADB-46BB-A4FB-B4A89B10AEE9.jpeg For some reason I’ve seen similar setups hauling sand into Midwest manufacturing (menards) to make concrete blocks. They dumped into an underground pit as fast as it would flow out.

That's interesting. Wonder why not just 2 side dumps? See plenty of tandem side dumps in my area

No idea. Some of them run a short side dump on a tandem lead and pull a tridem end dump.
