here's a question that I have that I am hoping that possibly someone can help answer or point me in the right direction.
With insurance companies requiring drivers have a minimum of 1-2yrs experience driving in order for a company to get insurance from them, would it be advisable to take a training course that also includes transim training (Transmission Simulator) or just go for the actual hands on training without the transim training?
One school states that the transim training they offer gives new drivers 3yrs experience in the eyes of insurance companies. Supposedly the reason behind this is that the transim training allows driving schools to simulate all the different situations that can arise... from bad/adverse weather conditions, road conditions, traffic, vehicle conditions, weight to name a few.
Look forward to hear everyones opinion on this.![]()
