Transmission 13 speed .

    I have a transmission ,13 speed .was,a 10 .
    Changed at shifter i think.
    Anyways would like to get opinon on a vibration when giveing fulel under load.
    Quites down alot going down hill but i i give it fuel the clut h/trans seems vibrates alot. Had adjust. On clutch
    Has new univ.drives,are straight new tires all around mich.x drivelines ballenced airbags shocks new less than 15000 miles them. Shifts great right in and out. Thanks for any input in advance. Not sure how many miles on trans .has been changed at one time old 2003 pete 379 ex.werner truck

    10 speed changed at shifter to 13 speed huh. Interesting universal trans you have there. Anyhow, if you are having the issue under load, sounds like worn out ujoint some where with a lot of slack, possible diff gear somewhere or trans output

    That's what I'm scratching my head at. The 13 and 18 are generally based off the 9 speed architecture.

    Remember there is other series.
    Super 10, Super 13
    Lightning 10, Lightning 13.

    I do not have enough experience with them to tell you shared parts, or housings.

    I cant tell what he is trying to explain.

    Good reason. The lightning is a pile of scrap. Aluminum case, water cooled with internal passages. Most of the time the case is one use only. Had my hands in a few. What a waste.

    I haven’t either. Maybe he is talking about some old dinosaur trans. The truck in question is a 2003 379 pete. Not plausible either way
