The proper fix is a new one O-ring kit for the high / low slave cylinder.
Have said that if you just want to get it fixed fast in mean time. Just take airline off at the slave and squirt as much atf as you can in there. It will work after that for quite a long time.
The O-rings get gumed up and dry things get sticky. Little lube goes long way .

Could be any of three things. The shifter range selector, the air regulator on R back of trany, or the slave, usually L side of trany. Once saw the tests on Eaton web site.

It could also be because it's cold? Works good slightly after correct?

There won't be any oil in the lines.
PUT OIL IN THE LINES. It will lube up those orings and will shift much better.
I've used automatic transmission fluid or air tool oil.gunner76 Thanks this. -

Honestly if it only does this cold I wouldn't worry. My truck has done this every morning all winter for 6 years now.
