transporting a new truck

    ya got all the work that has been done and at the current time i am leased on with a small company just down the road pulling drop deck running texas louisiana ala and miss. hauling catipillar stuff. bobcat equipment. other stuff for construction market...triple b transport

    Cool, they don't mind the old truck I guess.

    The highest hp that motor came with was 425 so it must be built up to get to 475. do you have a dyno run on it?

    now you are making me want to go dig out my paint gun, I'm embarrased now! lol well considering I coulda bought my truck 5 times for what you paid I think I did good. But a documented motor rebuild goes a long way with price

    no dyno. waiting to get to the cat shop up in bama to get a dyno check on it for sure.. the only dyno around here is the cummins dealership...the guy i got it from said the cat shop did some work on it to get more hp out of it... but you know how the word goes...... soon will make it up there to hit up on the dyno....

    I know all to well how that goes. I've been told this motor in my truk is fresh but with no paperwork I have to assume it's not. I'm looking for a good core motor to start rebuilding to swap out my cummins with. I'm hoping for 800 hp at least. I found a KTA cummins for sale $18k used. I'd like to get that baby. You can daily drive that motor with over 1400hp.

    what type of kta cummins is that? thats big money there. 800 hp.

    A decent short hood brings about $10k, that looks a bit too neglected though
