Thats contrary to everything thing I've ever heard.

Unless you are finding all day long shade the day time heat will kill them.

Can you haul em with a CDL Bee licence? Straight trailer or Bee trains? Can you haul em with a Bee model Mack?

I hauled a load from Pennsylvania to Wisconsin last year. At 23% of the gross it paid me about .65 per mile as a company driver. Sitting in traffic in Chicago a woman pulled up along side of me and said "Why do you haul them by truck?". I said "Because we couldnt afford airplane tickets".

Keep them flying and your gross weight will be lower and you'll save on fuel. :biggrin_2559:

Thank you very much, great advice . I'm getting loaded late afternoon just like you said. I'm buying a sprinkler hose for sure to be prepared. I have a 48 ft flatbed that they are going to put them on. I'm new to these forum but I really like it I'm going to be here for a long time. Thank you everyone for the replies.

Watch your weight. It is easy to get overweight if there is much honey in the hives. When you get to where you are going to unload sit for an hour or so to let them calm down. Unload at sunrise or sunset. Use V boards. Run during the day, keeping stops and length of stops to a minimum.

There was a bee hauler in the TS I'm at last night, he wasn't in a reefer, just had yellow netting over the whole thing...I first thought it was rotten meat or livestock surrounded by flies until I walked past it, dem were bees!!!!!!
