Perhaps I can add something positive and constructive this time. I have met a handful of drivers and o/o's from Erb & K-DAC who say they are satisfied and treated well.

I visited Erb's site many months ago. Remember reading something about no longer willing to run any load at a loss. They require running at a profit to remain in business.

in addition to that, $2.00 goes into the pension kitty fopr every hour worked. I won't tell you right to the penny what they make. Some of our drivers are on this website, if they want to disclose what they that's up to them. I'm sure it's a lot more than you get in Whitby, ON.

Well!! I drove for TransX for seven months. This last spring I had a heart attack. Now? I check our good. Stress tests physical. All pass well. So antsy as hell I reapplied to TransX and after all their hoop jumping the sent me a curt email saying they found someone more suitable. Ok Till I see ads all over the place by them still looking for drivers. I wonder why they have to be so rude as to not even say why they don't want a driver. It must be that they're ########.

I do know that if you lease from them you still pay full price for a truck and the old man makes about fifty grand per truck that he leases. You pay repairs, if you break down you pay repairs and you pay the company $1400. to have another truck bobtail to pick up your load. Old Louis is a shyster

 

No, hes not a shyster...he's an exceptional business man. Its the idiots who sign a lease purchase that got him to where he is today. Why do you blame someone else for your own incompetence? He didnt make you sign the lease purchase did he? That was your choice, so therefore your fault if it didnt work out.

Excuse me? An exceptional business man does not go around taking advantage of people. He takes advantage of opportunity. He takes advantage of situations but NEVER people.
My incompetence?! Do you ever know what you're talking about? You don't now..... I looked at what the man offered and left it on the table. Why? I'm not a fool, that's why. He wouldn't even get me the truck I wanted. All I asked for was..If I have to lease a Pete from you all I ask is one with two bunks and an autoshift. (I'm spoiled on autoshifts) I found that Peterbilt shifts really well but I still like autoshifts better. The fact remains...I did my research. I made a good decision based on that information. He promised a good truck at a good price. Figure it out..At the end of the lease you've paid full price for the truck. He paid fifty to eighty thousand dollars less than you paid. He took advantage of you. Even the dealerships don't make that kind of profit.

As to your judgment of me...My father always said.."A man who makes judgments without having all the facts is a fool" You are in danger of fitting this description.
