Dispatch just told me next time this happens if they don't remove the trash. Stay in the dock and they will continue to pay us detention until they remove it from trailer.

They told me to pull a few feet from dock and check inside. If there is trash, re-dock and wait till they remove it.

    then he just drove off.

The one time that ever happened to me it was the same thing. Air bags and plastic wrap. I called my dispatch and let them handle it and they told me don't move the truck till they called me back. The guy who previously said I couldn't use his dumpster came out to the truck more than happy to let me dump it there.

That's the right call. Good on your company. One of the ones we worked for years ago told us just to take it with us. Not that they paid us or anything.

Glad to see not all companies are stuck so far up the warehouse's behind they need a snorkel. :)

Littering is good. If everyone stopped littering many people that make a living picking up litter would be unemployed and then have to attend CDL school.

    That's funny.
I've never seen a Swift truck with an ex Walmart whited out trailer.
The picture doesn't extend that far forward to see the tractor.
I have seen Swift trucks with many trailers, but never one that was painted over. In over 5 years I have never had one. It simply isn't done.

I suspect that if another company was larger than Swift, the post would have had that name inserted.

And I understand that more Swifties are seen doing stupid things. But that is because there are that many more of us out there.

In my experience, I have seen more stupid things from what appear to be O/O trucks.
The idiots tailgating in the hammer lane, trying to get 1 more mile per hour while putting everyone at risk.
The truckers that are so in a hurry in a construction zone, again tailgating the person going the speed limit.
The jerk in the truck stop that is going 30 miles per hour because they have a time limit or something.
The other jerk in the fuel lane, taking a 30, and telling me to back up if I want to get out.
And so many are O/O or L/O trucks.

Are you saying that we should throw out our trash along the highway to provide much needed jobs?
And all in the hopes that those convicts won't get into trucking?

I guess that is one way to look at things.
