Moving violation ticket- probably. But not all states have reciprocity with Pa. So you will have to check your MVR in your home state after the conviction date.

How much was?
A friend of mine got +400$ ticket in Pittsburgh for same reason, a couple of weeks ago. -
of course it will, why were you running anyway, freight can wait.Trucker61016, rabbiporkchop, buddyd157 and 3 others Thank this.

You know, these travel bans PA seems to be in love with are ########. They're putting a ban Everytime a snow flurry passes the Governor's window.
Some freight cannot wait for Penndot to get off their ##### and do something. Milk, heating oil, propane comes to mind.
I dunno, perhaps it is best though with all the wheel holders out there, working for peanuts.Trucker61016, fss99701 and Blackshack46 Thank this. -

So this is moving violation? Did he paid or trying get lawyer?
-
If this is simply not a troll post....
What is the citation for? It will have either PA code, or FMCSA code that Likely it's for "Failure to obey a traffic control device." which is a moving violation and will be on your record, and any negatives from CVSA if an inspection was done also. -
I don't know what is worse, a fraidy cat state unable to grow a pair of bawls and finance a proper army of snow fighting. Raise 5000, dumptrucks with plows etc, 1000 road graders, 300 front end loaders and a whole peck of salt plus people in many pickups to keep track of everything. Im pretty sure they can render the Interstate system in PA relative clear in 10 hours. then work down starting with US State routes. And focusing on services like hospitals, fuel depots (Emlenton comes to mind) and a bunch of other really important stuff.
Or deliberately stupid engineers designing trucks that refuse to function in ankle deep snow. I weep with hot tears of SHAME and turn my back on the stupid trucks when they fold up and spin sidways on snow that is not worth stressing about. Maybe the casteraing, speed limiting and all that Computer crap has something to do with it. Give me a E intergrated volvo with a big Cat from 1989 and a all metal body versus two feet in Cumberland at 7% It will get through barefoot as long I keep a eye on that 5th to 6th roadranger shift across the box from low to high or back down.
As I write this I expect PA to endure a proper ice storm before the week is out at some point. If you are going that a way, give that load to some other chump and head south.just_sayin Thanks this. -
