I only watch the hot female drivers they got in Europe these days. -
I was going to call my company Journeyinsane but it didn't capture the true essence of my business plan, and it just didn't roll off the tounge like BYOB&CBD does

No one can PHYSICALLY FORCE a driver to drive illegally unless they have a gun to your head. I never even ask my drivers to drive illegally but if I did, they should tell me to shove it.
Why does anyone work for a company that very obviously has major issues? If you are driving out to a location to pick up an abandoned truck, here's your sign. The first sign that things are THAT far off, be done because it will only cost you more in the long run.
I won't comment on the obvious errors in the story here but next time, read through your post so we can all fully comprehend what is going on.joseph1853, firemedic2816 and REO6205 Thank this. -
If they said for me to drive illegally, I would dip into a stack of profanity and tell them forget it. And then F off with that stupid illegal request, they know better. (But don;t give a *&^%)
Drive illegally? HA, I just go to the truckstop and sit a couple of days until the recap got enough to roll the problem. my satellite used to get so bombed, you moving yet? Why are you stopped, what is going on etc.
"I don't drive illegal, just wait."
who the hell are you to talk this way back to us like that etc etc etc.
I quit. Bobtailed to the train station and picked up the amtrack to Baltimore. The truck is still somewhere in Delaware as far as I know. Maybe on blocks to this day. It was a little bit of a drive to get to Delaware to dump the truck there. But I was pretty much had enough of them.
And no I did not drive illegal. Not at that point in my later trucking years. When my state unemployment asked me why I quit, I turned in documentation who, what, where, why, and how they tried to get me to run illegal further divided by names, dates and times of messages from them etc. And presented a copy of my logs to the state desk person to put into his file and prove that yes I did not have the hours for the demanded delivery.
I got 6 months unemployment out of it. And used the time carefully to settle into a really good work without all that illegal crap.joseph1853 and LtlAnonymous Thank this. -
deathB4decaf and Lonesome Thank this.
