Tri axle dump bed size

    Here up north we do it all the time....

    KW has a 11 5/8ths big single frame that everyone uses.... the double frames get corrosion between the rails and end up being a pain in the butt....

    Now if your making a quarry truck that’s a different story.

    I really depends on what the state laws are on the gross weight, he never stated what the state gross weight is.
    I owned several tandem and tri axle dump trucks and everyone had a double frame, but in New Jersey a tri axle can gross 80K but they are checking axle weights now and at 80K they are overweight on the axles. All my tandems had a minimum of 46K lb rears and at that spec the average weight was 25K-26K, my RD688SX mack dumps with 58k rears weighed between 28K and 29K and at 70K gross they were over weight on the axles, but i registered them as Constructor tags which are exempt from axle weight.
    New York is heavier on the registration gross on a Tandem, with a special permit.

    That Superliner with a 500 wouldn't be for sale by chance? I would love to add another Superliner to our fleet.
