I've been out of otr for a few years. Just started back hauling milk. My truck has a tri-pac that even the mechanics don't know Jack about. I finally remembered that there was a reset switch, hit it, but my apu hasn't worked since I got this truck. When I hit the rest, I can now get the computer part to come on, but it won't let me do anything, and the motor won't kick on. No fan, ac or anything. What can I do? Boss won't pay to fix something unnecessary like that...I have to sit in a bay for at least an hour or 2 (sometimes lots longer) in the heat, which triggers my asthma. Please help a girl out! What can I do to make this thing work?

After you touch the `on` button to light up the control panel you have to press the far right button to activate the fan,ac,etc. What happens after you have pressed both buttons?

Nothing. It won't let me adjust temp, fan speed or anything.

You can google for an operators manual and a service manual. I have both downloaded on my laptop.

Check the fuses that are on the outside of the control panel, which ought to be mounted in the side box. Inside the TriPac unit itself, there is also a shut off switch, so that the unit can't start automatically while a mechanic works on it. Sometimes that switch is either left off, or bumped off when replacing a cover.

There is a main fuse that vibrates and breaks. It's a big one, about an inch wide. Mine were always in the back of the unit. You have to take the side covers off to get to it.

It says 70. It won't let me change temp, fan speed, ac/heat/fan. It has one light on by fan, none on speed. Won't let me change them.
