Apparently you can do a trial by declaration in CA.
I was cited for speed, and am considering one of those ticket lawyers who do it for you.
The cost is about $300, and I do not have to go to court.
Anybody do this?
If yes, was the ticket dismissed?

I fought and won a charge of overlength on the rear overhang on a car hauler in 2004 . The scalemaster on I 10 west of Bythe Ca measured from the rear of the top deck instead of the rear of the bottom deck on a Boydstun Stinger. Included explaination with pictures and won. Unless you can get info off ecm or some other indication, you probably would be advised to get representation.

Do you recommend a good lawyer in California I got a ticket for 65 in a 55? Had another driver with my company say trial by declaration letter did not work.

Tickets ' reduced ' to driving on a dirt road

Total cost was around $750 lawyers plus the

Ive used them twice, both times in Banning. Could have probably done it myself but to me it was money well spent. They were recommended to me on this forum back in 2011. Used them then and earlier this year. Both tickets were dismissed, one was for speeding.
