The woman movement crap is bull. What rights are they fighting for exactly? They have equal if not more rights than men.
Family courts
Police
Law in general
All in favor and believe whatever women say.

.41 CPM today verses .31 CPM in 2006....nothing has changed because the cost of living keeps rising with inflation. The question I would ask, what is the annual income of your top driver, Kaboom!
Mooseontheloose and bryan21384 Thank this. -
That was utterly ridiculous. None of those are even close to what the woman movement represents. If I had that thought, I sure would not have voiced that one.
-
I would also ask how many miles the drivers run. High cpm means nothing without milesMidwestResident and DustyRoad Thank this.

The "norm" is a large group of investors own publicly traded trucking companies, the "norm" is if you are a minority you cry and somebody from a government agency give you a handout, how's it feel to be part of the "norm"?JolliRoger, Texas_hwy_287 and All4Safety Thank this.

Well as far as we know about Tribe Express, it's a "Native American Woman Owned Company." Not Large Group of Investors Owned Company. She let's it be known that she owns the company, and it's followed by a bunch of haters, not only in this thread but others. I've seen other guys on TTR express skepticism as to how she got to that point. Folks are in denial about a women's movement. I can't believe some of these responses. Maybe people haven't advanced their thinking like I thought. When I say the norm, I mean where it's normal for women to own pretty big trucking companies. How many women do you see owning big trucking companies? Any large company? It's a small number, borderline minimal. As for your thought on women and people of color asking for handouts from the government, well.......I can't say nothing about that. I know I don't ask for handouts and I know those in my circle don't ask for handouts. Everybody is only asking for eqial opportunity. That doesn't always exist unfortunately.

So it would be considered ok if a large company painted " owned by a large group of white guys" on the side of a trailer?
JolliRoger, All4Safety and diesel drinker Thank this. -
In 2009 Barack Obama signed the Lily Leadbetter fair pay act making pay disparities for women illegal. Lots of women are making their presence known in the business world, including the trucking industry. Buryl Alfieri is another woman who also owns her own trucking company. In an industry dominated by men, it’s refreshing to see women ownership. Sometimes change is a good thing.
All4Safety, mjd4277 and bryan21384 Thank this. -
That would be poor taste.

We've gone a long way away from talking about Tribe Express as a company.
Arguments about women's rights, race, and business opportunities for minorities have no place in the main forum.
Please limit your remarks to the company itself.
This thread will stay open for now as long as everyone abides by the rules. It's up to you folks.Gearjammin' Penguin, MidwestResident, Texas_hwy_287 and 5 others Thank this.
