I can vouch for all the bad things everyone is saying about this company. It is without a doubt the most pathetic company on the road in my opinion. They want you to take your time to get their equipment fixed on the road. That's all they ever advertise is their equipment that's all they have going for them cause beyond the equipment they absolutely SUCK and if your not one of their "buddies" then you won't get the same treatment no matter if you do your job good or not. Their dispatchers are the rudest bunch of folks I've ever worked for. And Todd G and Chip H are con men.

Question should be: do you pay drivers for their time while their truck is being fixed?

Truck goes into the shop, driver cant sleep there what happens?

The reason why the company takes those late loads (loads someone canceled out on or didnt show) is that they pay wayyy more than other ones.

Tribe probably focuses on those which is good money for them yet as you said puts pressure on and screws the driver.

Yes we get paid if our truck breaks down and is put in the shop. And the company will put us in a hotel which they pay for. All pretty standard stuff in the industry I've never work for a company small or large that didn't do this.

It sounds identical to SPC in Auburn, Maine. Their loads are typically a week late.

So what if the load is a late load, it is up to the driver to deliver that load legal and safe. Years ago we were taught to plan your loads at a certain mph, know where you will be stopping for fuel and rests. If someone is thinking they have to be the outlaw to make themselves look good they are not really a driver. The driver is responsible for safety.
